Low income communities are more vulnerable to chronic disease and illness due to lack of adequate resources like healthcare, nutritious food, social support, and financial resources.
Moreover, communities of color are disproportionately experiencing this cycle, which all but magnifies current systemic racial disparities.
Our gym sits right in the intersection of the four metro Atlanta neighborhoods of Summerhill, Peoplestown, Mechanicsville, and Pittsburgh. 380 families here live under the poverty line (over half the families in the community) and over 60% of the population is Black/African American.
These gaps hinder not only health outcomes, but also economic, social, and generational potential for families, communities, and our entire nation’s future.
Parents who exercise have healthier babies and more physically active children, which in turn prevents mental and physical illness, it improves academic and other developmental markers–setting children and families up for long-term success.
So what if EVERYONE had a personal coach to help them obtain health and vitality? What if they were shown love and mercy along the way? What would happen to our families? What would happen to our kids? To our workforce? To our society?
What if the transformative power of whole-body wellness was possible for all of us?
Noble Clay is our answer. And Atlanta is our proving ground.
We price our memberships based on household income so everyone gets a seat at the table and a spot on the training floor.
The concept is simple, the results are revolutionary. Those who earn more help subsidize those who earn less, lifting all of us up and creating a true community.
